Pine Nuts are a much treasured seed, they're great in pasta dishes, on salads or just as they are. The Italians make good use of them in pesto sauce. They contain no cholesterol and are very high in iron, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, copper, manganese, thiamin, niacin and vitamin E.

Fact: Roman legions carried pine nuts as part of their provisions.
